Vane and Audra have had their moments! One moment would be when they first bonded but were then interrupted by Audra's mother, Arella, who then revealed that she was the one responsible for Vane's parents' deaths. Audra is the only person Vane remembers from his past and has dreamed about her for years. Vane even mentions how it seemed that Audra was growing up with him. In Let the Sky Fall, Vane points out several times that he likes Audra, calling her "hot," "gorgeous" and "sexy" and stating that it should be a crime to cover a body like Audra's with the bulky uniform she always wore during their training.
